Alice, the time has come to consider transport to Saltash for certain of our guests. That means we'll require several escorts who are able to enter there and who are familiar with the community.

As I'm sure you saw, Mr Weasley contacted me last night, expressing concern for you. If there is any way I can be of help--either by seeing you here or lending a metaphorical ear via the journals--I'd be most pleased. I'm afraid I'm not able to get to Sherwood myself today.

That said, I've had a letter from the new senior Healer at Sherwood. Healer Richards has asked if I might come and consult. I've been thinking I might be able to get there for a visit on Friday morning or Saturday if I could persuade Miss Perks to come with me for the tour. I should like her to see Sherwood's Healing facilities before she returns to school.

If it would be convenient, perhaps you could meet me for lunch after Miss Perks has left? I'd enjoy a tour of your Company if that's permitted, and I would very much like to see you for myself.

Do you have plans for tonight? Do the people at Sherwood observe the turn of the year in any particular fashion? I hope you will make the effort to be in company with people, even if you feel unable to join in festivity and frivolities.

And, Mr Boot, I sent enough of the Easing potion for the next several nights, so you needn't hesitate to ask Healer Clark if you feel it would help again tonight.

New year means new beginnings. I'm probably not the only person hoping for that.
