Thank you, indeed, for the invitation to participate in your Robustious Recuperatives seminar. Expect my owl with payment in full tomorrow breakfast. As you know, I am ever in search of improved techniques and tonics to speed my young patients back to full bloom when accidents and ailments befall them.

I'm most grateful to have the participant list in advance, and most pleased with the list you've assembled. A promising group, indeed!

I shall be squeezing several stops in between finishing my end-of-term inventories here and arriving at Igtham Mote. Is there anything at all I might pick up for you along the way? (Alnwick, Mevagissey, Truro, and Grimsby, for certain. Others if time allows. Or requests dictate.)

I'd hoped to ask you about something last night, but when I came down, you were clearly otherwise occupied. I do hope everything's all right. You sounded rather upset.

Is your summer nearly scheduled, then?

I'm sorry... I had several small catastrophes here last evening. It started before supper with another of Mr Oglethorp's sick headaches, which leave him so discombobulated. And then I had Mr Twee with a cursed splinter--the things children keep at the bottom of their trunks! And Miss Pummel with a flesh-eating spider bite.

And all that came before the runs swept through the Ravenclaw thirds... a batch of trick sweets shared whilst revising, apparently.

I was in and out, up and down, I'm afraid, but I'm very sorry if I missed you.

Oh, it wasn't the usual sort of thing. I know you can handle that with your usual skill.

Milland was being very sharp at you, and while you were clearly holding your own, I don't think I've ever heard him like that. And Mr Weasley, trying to stay out of the midst.

It did make me worry.

I came down because, well. A personal question I'd like your advice on. It's not urgent.

Mr Milland does have a temper. Especially late in term. I suppose we all do. Fusses about disruptions, fumes about messes, frets about supplies and the like, and is downright fractious when his demands aren't met.

Do you have a free hour today? Between exams? Perhaps a quiet lunch here instead of the chaos in hall? I'm most eager to be of service, if I can be.

I'm out in New London right after I'm done at noon. Not quite sure when I'll be back - might be eight, might be nearer ten, and then I've the evening exam to set up for.

Just wanted to let you know you needn't wait up on my account. I'm only just on my way back - we rather lost track of the time talking and I do like to triple-check that everything's set for the exam.

Might manage time to come see you after supper tomorrow, but I'm entirely booked until then. And truly, what I wanted to ask can entirely wait until next week.

As for the summer, I'm still trying to decide amongst seminars.

Would you attend a workshop called 'Perish the Thought: Reversing Putrefaction'?

It's that or 'Tackling Trauma: Triage Techniques'. Offered the same half-week. That always happens!
