alt_poppyIt is my unfortunate duty to inform you as his nearest relations that Professor Rabastan Lestrange has suffered a serious curse injury this afternoon. I am treating him here at Hogwarts in consultation with specialists from St Mungo's curse team. His condition is severe but has stabilised.
I regret to say that I have also treated your daughter this afternoon. For shock and minor bruising suffered as her uncle shielded her from the curse that caused his injury. I cannot offer more detail on those circumstances as I was not present, but I can assure you that Miss Lestrange was not significantly injured. She did, quite understandably, faint in the shock of the moment, but she regained consciousness promptly and continues to be alert and responsive.
I am available to discuss Professor Lestrange's care, or you may wish to contact Healer Socrates Kosta at St Mungo's. He stands ready to discuss whether Professor Lestrange ought best be transferred there.
